Saving Scanned Data on the Memory Card Using the Operation
Panel of the Machine
You can save scanned data on the memory card using the Operation Panel.
Important
Do not remove the memory card from the machine under the following conditions:
While scanning is in progress
Before saving the scanned data
Scanned data saved on the memory card drive cannot be printed in the memory card mode.
For safety reasons, we recommend storing the scanned data saved on a memory card to another
media periodically to avoid unexpected accidents.

Make sure that the machine is turned on.
2.
Press the
Menu
button.
3.
Use the
button to select Scan, then press the
OK
button.
The Scan & save to screen is displayed.
4.
Use the
button to select Save to memory card, then press the
OK
button.
5.
Insert the memory card into the Card Slot.
For how to insert the memory card into the Card Slot or information on the types of the memory card
compatible with the machine, refer to Printing from a Memory Card
.
6.
Select the data format, then press the
OK
button.
Select PDF or JPEG.
7.
Load the original on the Platen Glass following the instruction on the LCD.
Note
Refer to
Loading Paper / Originals
for how to load the original on the Platen Glass.
The size of scanned data will be A4, regardless of the size of the original.
8.
Press the
OK
button.
The machine starts scanning and scanned data is saved on the memory card.
Remove the original on the Platen Glass after scanning is complete.
