Important

z Before performing the port settings, make sure that the printer is switched on and

connected to the network.

z After performing the procedure above, check the transfer mode currently in use

and determine what other modes that can be used for printer communication. When

data transmission to the printer fails, and error message is displayed. Click No to

switch off the byte count mode.

Click the OK button to enable the settings.

This completes the connection settings.
